Hungry for dance? Dance A La Carte serves up three entree-sized courses of contemporary dance by local and interstate choreographers.

First on the menu is Room With Her View, devised, choreographed and performed by Aisling Donovan, exploring the isolating nature of social anxiety and how this phobia results in withdrawal from the ‘real world'.

To keep your appetite going Toys, devised and performed by Melbourne artist Tina Evans, delves into the dark shadows of sex trafficking, where children are packaged products stripped to the core. Wind them up until they break down...

And for the main course… Legs 11 is a dance theatre duet that tells the tale of two elderly bingo-goers. These ladies’ lives haven’t turned out quite as planned but they do have some fond and quirky memories. They recall their days of drinking, smoking, traveling, drinking some more, generally misbehaving, and of course, bingo!
