"As a visitor to Perth who likes to see live theatre, this was a terrific show in a great venue. The versatility and impact of the acting and its closeness was most appreciated."
Zen's Red Mouth audience member, July 2007

"Loved the show, I always enjoy the performances at The Blue Room. Artsy atmosphere, but not pretentious, cutting edge performances. Never boring"

From the team that brought you Imperial Façade and The Ships Pass Quietly comes Lost Is My Quiet, a tense psychological thriller.

Living in a terror-ridden South-East Asian city, Jody Fielding is a writer of voyeuristic pulp fiction.

“Somehow I’ve got this gift, the way I use words…I can make the reader feel he’s actually having sex with the most exotic women or boys in the whole of Asia.”

Jody shares his life with Libbie, an ex-hooker who feeds him stories from her lurid past. They are visited by Simon, an ex-lover of Jody’s, who claims to have become a born-again Christian. Simon feels that he is being shadowed by his doppelganger, an exact copy of himself. Trouble is, the doppelganger is a born-again serial killer.

Does Simon actually have a doppelganger or is he simply one seriously deranged young man?

“You tend to grow out of your doppelgangers after a while.”
