In Antarctica, in a crumbling local library, and in a sex shop near you, three people sit and wait. And ponder the end of Sophie.
Bernadette is turning into a librarian, and it scares the hell out of her.
Oliver is trying to get together a pair of penguins for the sake of the species and ponders the chance that one of them may be gay.
Ursula just wants a challenge.
And Sophie is gone - dead? Or disappeared? Or something else? A bittersweet exploration of love, loneliness and two penguins, The End of Sophie and all her Friends is brought to you by the creative team behind last year's Red Meat.
"I think she just removed me and slotted in someone more able and appropriate. And the principle force in my life disappeared. I cried, and I raged, and I got angry - and then I grew up. And here I am. I'm alive, I got through it. Pity she didn't..."
