In this absurd comedy, Paige (Summer Williams) is a passionate writer with a vivid imagination who gets more than she bargained for when she finds herself in an unusual women’s writers group.
The strange women don’t want to talk about their work and in order to fit in Paige holds her tongue. However, as the group’s behaviour gets more bizarre, Paige decides she must make her presence felt…
Sharing this humourous double bill is the timely story of Janey (Rose McKenna). In this world premiere, things aren’t looking good for the frightfully posh actress, past her prime and stuck in post-GFC London.
When her long-suffering agent insists she enter a stand-up comedy competition, Janey, the serious actress, is infuriated. But when her rebellious daughter’s antics put Janey further into debt, she may just have to lighten up and learn to laugh at herself.
