The Blue Room Theatre
The Blue Room Theatre is a 60-seat black box performance space, housed in what was once the science laboratory of the Perth Central School. The Blue Room theatre is intimate, flexible and unpretentious. The theatre is the home venue of the Performing Arts Centre Society's core activity, the Blue Room Program: this innovative program supports sixteen productions each year from some of Perth’s newest and most exciting independent professional theatre makers.
As you enter the main entrance to the theatre, you will be greeted by an extraordinary painting that covers every inch of wall and ceiling space. Painted by internationally recognised artist Tom Alberts, the work is listed as a significant artwork by the Art Gallery of WA.

The Blue Room Theatre is a flexible 75sq metre performance space with: bio box/wooden floor/limited natural light/reverse cycle air con/seats up to 70 (subject to availability).
